Custom 2000 & 2500A Generator Docking Stations

Our Generator Connection Box serves as the link between a generator and downstream equipment. By bridging the gap between utility and backup power during a power outage, a Generator Docking Station helps to continue operations without missing a beat. They effortlessly connect to a portable power source and pair with a Transfer Switch to support steady power distribution. Hospitals, airports, and data centers commonly rely on docking stations to make sure that they can sustain critical functions even in emergency situations.

Earlier this Summer, we built (2) custom Generator Docking Stations rated for 2000 and 2500 amps rated at 277/480V. Both units include a Kirk-Key interlocked Circuit Breaker and alarm system. 600A Non-Fusible Custom Quick Connection Switch

In February of 2023, we had the opportunity to build a custom Quick Connection Switch (QCS) with Camlocks for a local distributor. When sketching the design concepts for our QCS, we made sure that it would live up to its name by including features that provide convenience. It’s designed to condense the otherwise time-consuming installation process so that installers can focus their time on more important tasks.

This particular Custom Quick Connection Switch was designed to handle up to 600 amps and 480 volts. This switch is a non-fusible switch with 3 poles, 3 wires, and a ground. At the bottom of the unit, we installed 2 Color-Coded Camlock Panels to include a total of 16 female, 90-degree Camlocks. With attention to detail, we labeled each row of Camlocks to simplify identification while connecting to power.

When creating the blueprint for this QCS, our design process was centered around making something that was easy to use and had flexible applications. This switch in particular has 2 sets of hot cams to parallel power out to 2 centralized locations. This helps take up less space than traditional wiring so that the user can fully utilize their power needs.

Custom 250A Company Switch

We recently took our standard Company Switch and added a few custom options inside the unit. This switch is equipped with a 120/208V, 250A Main Breaker and (2) sets of Female Camlocks. One special addition we added was (2) 208V, 50A weatherproof receptacles mounted on the side of the unit.

While this company switch is rated for 250A, we have several other standard options available rated at 60, 100, 200, and 400 amps.
